A psychological point-and-click adventure game that asks: what constitutes consciousness?
Memorandum is a game that follows a character who has chosen to undergo an experimental procedure to digitally replicate their mind and transplant it into an artificial body. However, the process leaves their memories incomplete and obscured. The player must parse through remnants of their apartment to regain their memories and piece together the puzzle of who this person once was.
This game attempts to give form to my personal struggles with my identity and memory. It serves as an abstracted representation of my experience with navigating my own personhood, fragmentation of self, and struggle of recognition, as well as grappling with my queerness and gender fluidity.
